This week

My post, Eating Out, made it into this week's Carnival of Personal Finance, hosted over at The Personal Financier.

Working On a Budget appears in this week's Carnival of Financial Learning, which has a Hurricane Ike theme.

Frugality vs. Charity, a post about choosing between saving and giving, is an Editor's Pick on the 143rd Festival of Frugality, hosted this week at Living Almost Large.

I'm greatful that my rant, uh opinons, on The Rising Cost of Textbooks was chosen for the Carnival of Money Hacks, which appears this week on the Quest to Be Debt Free site.

This past Sunday's recipe, Apple and Onion Crostata with Gorgonzola and Pecan topping, was an Editor's pick at the Make It From Scratch Carnival at Funny About Money.

Thanks to all the hosts for including me! Check out all these carnivals for some great reading.

And now for something completely hysterical -
